I am a huge fan of middle eastern cuisine and love the idea of including more Turkish and Middle Eastern foods in our recipe rotation. The book has been widely anticipated among all of my favorite foodie go-to sources (Bon Appetite, Food and Wine and Food52) so I knew I needed this book on my shelf. I am just now coming around to the shakshuka craze so this will be the first recipe I try. Eggs and tomato sauce are two of my favorite things so combining the two seems like a match made in heaven. Another recipe I am really excited to try is plaki. We had a great Turkish restaurant that we frequented when we lived in Ohio and they had the best plaki…if I can recreate it my kids and hubby will be uber impressed! I recommend this book to anyone that is interested in global cuisines and loves tackling new recipes.
