The New American Heart Association Cookbook is a compendium of heart healthy recipes. As a dietitian I am always looking for techniques to share with my patients that will help them learn to cook healthier food without sacrificing flavor. This book has hundreds of recipes suitable for any palate. The recipes are not typical health food that sounds a little gross or bland, rather these are gourmet recipes that happen to also be heart healthy. I am always a proponent of eating food that tastes great and is healthy to boot and his book delivers on that front. This is my favorite title from the American Heart Association. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in an encyclopedic cookbook full of amazing and healthy recipes.
